If you’re like me, you probably agree that self-care is something worth prioritizing. It’s been a focus for me lately and I realize that the more I take care of myself, the more I have to give others. But I’ve been grappling with what self-care actually looks like in practice. Recently though, I had an epiphany when I realized that self-care is connected to some choices I’m making about how I spend my time.
Do you find yourself saying yes to things when you'd really rather be saying no?
Do you tend to make other people and their requests more important than your own priorities?
If you answered yes to these questions, I'm totally with you. So in this week’s episode of the podcast, I’m sharing a couple strategies I’m using to check in about what I really want. It’s not easy, but I’m working on making myself and my feelings a priority.
Take a listen and let me know what you think. Do you have another strategy for prioritizing your time and your needs? I'd love to know. This is a work in progress and I'd love to practice this together!
