Feeling torn about a decision you need to make? This strategy can help! When my head is spinning with a choice I need to make, I often feel like I've lost my center. Losing my center is how I describe that feeling I have when I'm being asked to make a decision and I don't know what to do or how I feel about it. It's as if I feel lost. I’ve realized that feeling usually means I haven't taken the time to sit down and reflect on this question: What do I want or need?
If I’m going somewhere and get lost, I look at a map to find my way. In this episode, I talk about how I use my core values as a compass to get myself back on course. Also, as a super special bonus, at the end of this episode, I guide you through a super simple, but powerful exercise that will help you determine your own core values!
- Personal Pep Talk card deck (Essentials and Teacher deck) - red card, Core Values
- Core Values List PDF - for the Core Values exercise at the end of this episode
